Fake fruit display, 2024

One day, I was at Hobby Lobby shopping for project materials and I found an isle that was stocked with fake fruit. I stared at the fake produce and an idea bubbled in my brain. My idea was to make a fake fruit display, which used to be a house decoration choice in the 1970s and 1980s. I bought some fake grapes, apples, bananas, oranges, and plums from Hobby Lobby but could not find a bowl that I liked there. I ended up finding an old colander at a thrift store the next day. I washed the colander and cut out a square piece of Styrofoam to make the fruit look fuller. Then I tried out different positions with the fruit until I was satisfied with the look.
